Why do I feel like a 40 year old mother of 3 at age 25

In 2016 my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Since then my life has slowly but surely changed... completely

For a lot of reasons but her health has drastically changed my day to day.

Runaway

Tonight after a long day of many errands and things to do I find myself exhausted. It's my first day of break for the holidays but I'm more tired than when I worked my 9-5. As I mashed up a baked potato and placed it in a Tupperware container, because my mother who is newly blind as of early 2020 is uncomfortable eating out of anything else, I found myself wondering why. I had just finished putting all the groceries away that I had picked up earlier. I hand her the food and explain what each thing is. I sit down finally for a moment to breathe and I hear: "Can you add more butter it doesn't taste like there is any on here?"..... I get up with bad attitude, get the butter and place the biggest scoop of butter I can into her bowl. Back to the kitchen where I find my father has left his trash on the stove I just cleaned. I pick up his trash for what feels like the ten thousandth time and throw it away. I go to my room, exhausted. Why. Why. Why. How am I 25 but I feel like a 40 year old mother of 3?

I'm lucky. My mom has been cancer free the last three years. She survived pneumonia, sepsis, probably the world's largest pulmonary embolism (estimated), thyroid issues, diabetes so far, and now blindness. I am thankful because she is not currently actively dying. That's what I tell everyone when I get the daily "how is your mom doing?" that I have become so accustomed to now it feels more prevalent then "how are you doing". I tell them that as long as she's not actively dying I am good. Which I am. I am extremely thankful for these pockets where there are no hospital visits and I don't have that tightness in my chest of panic.

I remember telling a friend I loved hospitals... years ago. I thought they were so interesting because you get so many weird cases and interesting medical things. Now I almost despise them. Funny how time does that.

When mom was diagnosed with cancer I was still in college and not working full time. I was the one with her at every chemo treatment. I made her playlists of her favorite songs. She would dance in her little infusion chair as they pumped her full of "the big red" they (the nurses) called it. I did everything I could to make the experience pleasant. I remember just wanting to take in all the time I could with her because suddenly losing my mom became a real possibility.

Sudden possibility illness is terrifying. It's got such drama, power, and sting to it.

Chronic illness.... is a whole other monster. For the person suffering and for those closest to it.

That attitude of wanting to make the best was sanded down to a bitter, resentful, tired attitude. Feeling used, taken advantage of, invisible, and emotionally dull.

My mother would call me cold. Truthfully, sometimes I was. Sometimes I was because I had a sinful bad attitude. Other times I had to be. If she was having a panic attack and crying in pain or fear... I had to shut off my emotions because if I allow myself to break with her, we aren't going to get anywhere.

This year everything built up. For the first time in my life I started drinking, and not for the right reasons. I'll tell ya what. I knew it to. I knew myself and even told people before that I don't drink because I know my tendencies to overdo anything like that. This is not my situations fault or anyone else's fault but mine. I knew what I was doing. I quickly repented to the Lord and confessed this to my friends who were present during these times and asked for accountability. Drinking isn't a problem... but WHY you drink and being controlled by alcohol is.

For a long time I felt stuck, and to be honest I struggle with this kind of stuck everyday. The only difference is now I actually know what's true. You see, I felt stuck. Like I could never leave and pursue what I want for my life because how could I abandon my sick mother? My dad works, my sister is busy with her life, if I leave she would be on her own. This guilt ways heavy on me every time I decide to eat with a friend, every time I stay out a little later, every time I did something for me. This guilt is so real and it weighs on you like an invisible stone that gets bigger every time you feel it.

What helped me was reading a book with a woman from church called "Loving God with your mind" by Elizabeth George. Through reading this book, speaking with a pastor at my church, and therapy I learned that I can be helpful to my parents. I can offer help. They are not my responsibility though. I don't have to fix them and I need to set boundaries. As long as my dad is healthy it is his responsibility to care for my mom's needs, but I can help. This definitely releases so much weight of the burden of it all.

Some other helpful truths I've learned:

-God allows you to be in the circumstances you are. All you have to do is be obedient to his word.

-There's nothing that enters your life that God didn't allow.

-Boundaries are ok

-So many opportunities to store your treasures in heaven through service

-God understands that struggle both with sin and with just being plain old tired.

-Just focus on the Lord. So if no one recognizes all you do, it doesn't matter. God knows and that's the only person you need to please

-You don't have to control everything. God is in control. Let it go. Just be obedient and move on. You can only control what you do. Not how other's live.

Ya know what's interesting? When I was doing absolutely everything and drowning I got tons of compliments from my mom's friends about what a good daughter I was. Since I have set some boundaries and started pursuing more of the things I want to do... I have gotten more dirty looks and side remarks from her friends. For example, I was busy working on something when my mom called me in my room and asked me to get a box from the shed to decorate the tree. We had another box already out that was plenty to decorate the tree with. I told her I would if I could but I was working on something. A couple hours later I came out and the tree was decorated sufficiently with the things from the first box. My mom's friend who had decorated it said, "how does it look?" "Nice!" I said. "Well, you wouldn't go get the other box so we had to make do...." she said rolling her eyes almost. I also heard my mother on the phone with a friend who said to her "Tell Rebeca to make you dinner. She's a woman. She should know how to, goodness."... which is funny considering I make dinner for my parents almost every night.

THIS IS HARD. BECAUSE I AM SO SINFUL. I swear, I am the WORST. My natural instinct is to literally scream in my car because now I am getting accused of being a bad daughter by my mother's friends despite still doing quite a bit in my opinion.

Here's what you do instead: you let it go. Who cares. They're sinful just like me. Who cares what they think of me or of what I do. All that matters is God's opinion of me (Gal 1:10). I am here to serve God, not men or their opinions.

I'm still struggling. I'm tired tonight. I'm wrestling with every inch of me. I want to hide, or yell, or say means things, or distract or numb or disappear. I wanna do anything other than respond biblically. Don't get me wrong, sometimes a perfectly fine response is to rest. But rest in Him. Rest in His truth. Take a bath and meditate on truth. Too often I'm "resting" in youtube, video games, and instagram which just makes me more tired.

If you're in a similar type of feeling or situation. I recommend you search the scriptures for how to obey it, seek out wise counsel, pray about it, and keep moving forward. You're only right here anyway. You aren't yesterday and you're not tomorrow. You're right now. So that's all you can do.

I don't know what this blog is. I didn't proofread this, so good luck.

 Hi again there!

Brother

I recently rediscovered this blog and found the post I made about my friend Niki. We've been inseparable for 3 years now. I've been thinking about my friends today. Mickah, Sabbina, Niki, Kaitie, and Naomi. I love my friends. If they needed me, I'd be thankful they gave me the opportunity to provide them help.

I'm so thankful for my friends. I'm so thankful I have people I know I can turn to and struggle through this life with.

I'm learning so much through this pandemic it would be impossible to put it all into a blog post. Everyday is battle and everyday there is a balance that is needed and I rarely get it right.

Things i've been learning:

1: I can't control other people. Simple enough but I'm learning to believe this throughout the day. I can only control what I do.

2: Purpose. Everyday and every action is about our purpose behind it. God cares about our heart more than anything else. It's not about what we do, it's why we do it.

3: I want to change. I want to stop my bad habits. I want freedom.

And so much more.

I desperately don't want to waste this life. It's going to disappear I even know it. I want to wake up and realize how precious each day is. If I keep living for only myself, it'll be a waste.

I'll be good

I know this post is kind of a mess, but isn't that life? We rarely have only one thing going on. As much as I love the TV show "Boy Meets World"... life is rarely a one problem at a time episode. Not even just problems but distractions, attentions, goals, regrets, and aspirations. So many things pull us from right now.

Rest

Today I took off work because I had a bad procedure at the dentist office yesterday.
3 hours of getting 10 teeth drilled into with no sedation.
It was long, and the pain afterwards was awful.

I decided to take today off because I'm sore and because I have felt a lack of rest.
Lack of restful time with the Lord and also lack of time to get things done that need to be.
This is hard balance for today.

I've had a lot of choices to make...
Los Angeles? When, how, what?
Dog? too much money? worth it? am I making a mistake?
Mom? Am I abandoning her? Am I helping enough? too much? not in the right ways?
Work? Am I doing a good job? Am I trying too hard? Am I not trying enough?

These questions go through my head all day.. .and I'm exhausted.
I don't have clarity on why I'm so uncertain.. haha.. that's ironic... but I really don't.
I don't know why I keep questioning everything and myself.
I just want to make decisions and feel sure about them, and accept their consequences.
This questioning will keep me still forever.

I guess it's time to read that "Just Do Something" again.

"With our white flag sailing in the night,
eyes pointed to the sky,
hand up and open wide,
open wide"

I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the LORD sustains me.
~Psalm 3:5
My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
~Psalm 62:1-2

Make something

I'm working full time now.
It's such a huge answer to prayer to put away the money I have been asking God to help me with.
However, in my job I don't "create" anything, which is hard for me. I need to be making something, and school and work has taken me away from that. So I'm trying to do vlogs, write songs, edit my first film project. Making something is so fulfilling and a blessing to do.

Quiet

A few months ago I wrote on my new friend and all the joys of getting to know someone for the first time. Us, as friends, would probably say we are best friends now. I have shared my story, and I know most hers.

We've officially reached the quiet stage. The sitting in the car just listening to music stage and being able to be quiet. However, it also feels like certain points we have run out of things to say. I know a lot of it for her is simply being stressed and tired from work. I've tried to do things to ease her stress. Today I got up early and took her a donut and an energy drink and then drove her to work. I really enjoy this type of giving. I'm hoping it helped, but I can tell she's still quite tired from a long day. She's getting use to a new schedule. Overall, I'm just going with the flow. I love my friends.

Last night I got to go out with my other friend Olivia. We went iceskating and then for icecream and it was totally lovely. I've been doing my best to be very giving to my friends, and to others.

New Friend

This week I have made a new friend and I want to document it.

We are currently in the super fun phase of: "I don't know anything about you. There is so much to learn. You are so interesting".

It's such a great phase of friendship to be in, but when one has been friends for years, you forget what this feels like. To not know someone at all and to learn everything about them. To share with them things that everyone else has known for years, and have them be pleased or displeased with what they hear.

It started like this:

Niki (my new friend) joined my Young Adults Group sometime around March (because she was at a dinner on my birthday that I was at as well).

A month or two after that she had made a post about if anybody needed anything from Staples she could get discounts because she works there. I said that I might need some materials, but our conversation with that kind of ended there (we talked a bit at our group but just a bit).

Context needed to understand my actions:

I recently... I wouldn't say "lost" but it's the only word I can think of... "lost" my best friend. It's hard to explain. Basically, and ironically enough we haven't really spoken since my birthday. I took her out for hers, but when mine came and went.. I didn't really hear anything from her. She got some new friends- which is all good. We should all have multiple friends. However, I haven't really heard from her since. I was, as well, going through a particularly difficult time. I get that dealing with other people's problems is no fun... but I wasn't like someone you have to tip toe around. I was transparent in saying that "Yes, I'm having a really hard season of life right now" but "Let's go hang out. I'm not going to sit around and mope all day". So I can't imagine that being a really strong reason for radio silence on her end. I am unsure of what I did, if anything.

I got use to not having anyone again. Truth is, I am fine on my own. I can watch movies by myself, I can write about my feelings, I can run by myself, I can live by myself. This is true. However, this past month I started to really feel this pit of loneliness. It sounds pathetic but it didn't feel pathetic. It didn't feel like self pity or anything.

It felt like... like scrolling through your phone because you've been in the house too long.. and there's no one to text. So you go out and you walk by yourself. Which is fine, but you look around at strangers and you start to think "I should just meet someone new in public like the old days before phones". You admit to yourself that you're fine.. but looking around at people with friends, girlfriends, boyfriends... you just feel something missing. You miss conversations. You miss laughing. You can only laugh at yourself so many times before you start to fear your mental state... but after all, you're fine alone. Loneliness feels like no ones knows you. No one knows who you really are. Those in your daily life know your professional/working self.

You can reach a point in loneliness where you reach out for anything. Like throwing five bucs into a pile of people and hoping someone will pick it up. Throwing out lonely vibes without wanting to worry or scare anyone.

What Happened This Week:

Before I continue my story, I want to make something clear. Niki is more than a chick who picked up five bucs or just the first person to say hi. I am so grateful because she is (so far) so wonderful and so interesting. I am so happy she has entered my life.

Last week.. in my lonesomeness. I sent out a text to everyone in my phone. I stated that I wanted to go on a walk but would enjoy some company. As usual, I received no after no. Not quite worded that harsh.. but feels the same.

I asked my friend Naomi is she was in town (because she lives in the town right north of us and doesn't have a car). I had texted Niki as well out on a limb. Naomi texted back stating that she was with Niki. They then asked me to pick them up from the mall and then go to our group since they don't have a car. So I did. We stopped by Niki's house. Her stepmom had just redone her gorgeous kitchen. Their house was very nice and I felt just slightly out of place, but doing my best to not be weird or say something offensive (which is usual).

We then stopped by Starbucks and spend ten minutes trying to pick out drinks but we all went with sandwiches anyways. We had some hilarious conversations there and Naomi made a comment about Niki and I as a "match made in heaven" and that was the moment my brain clicked. Why haven't I reached out to her before? Why haven't we been friends?

Oh I should probably mention that my only other communication with her before this was her group texting all our numbers (of people in the young adults group) and me convincing her I was a bunch of other people... She literally had me in her phone as "Daniel" for a week.

From Starbucks night, I sent her a photo of me in goggles which became my contact photo according to her. Then we were sending each other memes and gifs of weird things.

Then this past Sunday (May 28th) we hung out after church.. I introduced her to the first episode of Sherlock. She fell in love. How can one not? Then she came over Tuesday night and we watched Sherlock for 6 hours. I made sandwiches and put out a bunch of fruit and veggies. I haven't laughed so hard in one night in a long time. It was such a great night. Probably the best night of 2017 so far. You can't get better than Sherlock, food, and laughter.

I continue to learn about her. I hope this blog post isn't creepy. I just am happy to have a new friend. I want to remember these nice times... because I am also concerned. I am very cautious. And I don't want to say too much too soon and possibly ruin another friendship. I am not scarred or being "that girl" who is afraid to trust people- I'm just trying to be cautious. I just am tired of losing people. So I want to hold on to the goodness of a gain.

"After an audition, let it go"

This is not an easy concept. Especially when the opportunity was large and the script was great. I had a large opportunity this past week. I did my best, and I believe it was quite good.

Casting comes down to so many things though. One's height, hair color, voice, and then all of it compared to the lead role. I could do this role, 100%. I have the ability and training. However, I am also non-union and it is a union film.

I get it. Which is why I have also decided that tonight at 5pm, if I have not received a callback, I will let it go. Though this is still not easy to do.

If I were to get a callback and even a role, this would be a career changing month.

Update May 29th, 2017: No callback. Life continues on. Another no. On to the next.

What is Happening

I'm in a "blah" phase. I'm hoping it goes away soon. Basically I don't want anything. I don't want to do anything. This makes me frustrated. I don't want to talk to people either. I don't want to answer questions. Everything feels ten times more difficult. I'm not depressed. I swear. It's just a blah phase. It does feel awfully lonely though. I read an article that described exactly how I was feeling. The article claims that the "blahs" is a way of the mind protecting itself from unwanted negative emotions. It just sort of numbs itself out. I guess that makes sense. Problem is, I have no idea what I'm blocking out.

Short thoughts on 2017

I'm trying to figure out what I really want out of 2017.
I could make these huge goals, but a year really isn't that long. Odds are I wont be able to accomplish the long term goals.

I feel like school takes over most of my year as well.

Christmas

This year for Christmas I'm asking the Lord for a few things. One of the main things is to understand Christmas. I don't feel like I have ever properly understood it. I want to understand and believe the significance of Christ's birth. I want that to be the focus.

Otherwise Christmas is just a disappointment.

I also want to give. I feel like Christmas isn't Christmas if I haven't sacrificed something to give to someone else. It's always a scary kind of giving that requires going outside of your comfort zone. I'm considering volunteering to make food for kids in Haiti... or deliver Angel Tree presents. Not sure. Both kind of scare me.

Time

This week I found the school I would most like to attend for my masters in acting. Today was my mom's last session of chemo. It's not over yet though... She still has five weeks of radiation and possible another month of another drug. I was just sitting here tonight, practicing "Bird Set Free" as a cover, and thinking about my possible future that I look forward to.

Then I remembered that none of this guaranteed. Don't misunderstand though. I am aware that getting into a fancy acting school is a 16/7000 chance. That's not what I mean. I mean life is not guaranteed. I do not know what is going to happen in the next year or five, ten, twenty years. I could get into a car accident or come down with a disease myself. My whole life planned out is not guaranteed. It's just a reminder that I need to be living everyday towards eternity.

Stuck

I am unaware how other people go about their lives with simple desires and the common struggles.

I'm referring to those who desire to be mother's and wives. A simple and common desire. Common struggles include finances, inability to find a husband, and contentment while single.

Don't get me wrong. I am in no way belittling the struggle of going many years desiring to be married.. desiring to be loved.. and unable to find it. In many ways it's similar to my own struggle.

I write this today because I feel trapped. It almost feels selfish to say that, but it's simply how I feel.

Many people say I'm lucky because I have known what I have wanted to do since I was seven years old. However, yesterday I found myself holding back tears as I said to my mom, "People like me, who come from where I do, don't become actors".

It's sounds so silly. Becoming an actor. I've heard every opinion there is on actors. Here's my battle:

I live in a state where we have a few opportunities.... but if I stay here there is very little chance of working full time in the industry.

If I stay, I will not be able to do what I've been working towards for fourteen years.

Simply saying "the job I want" doesn't feel right to me. Job. This was never a job to me. This has been and always will be my passion. I even feel like passion is an overused word. I don't know how to accurately describe what I want in words. I just know that stories have always been a huge part of my life. The chance to tell them through screen and film has been one of my greatest joys.

The battles are these:

The battle between money and ability to go to places where auditions are held.

The battle between leaving and staying for the sake of my mother's heart.

The battle between working full time in a regular job while giving up ability to go to auditions and not being able to afford going to auditions due to no full time job.

The battle between myself and I as I contemplate whether I'm smart or good enough for this work anyways.

The battle of turning down big auditions due to them crossing lines I have set for myself as a Christian.

This week I am just feeling stuck. Financially stuck here with no clear way to afford travel or the basics of acting business expenses. Career wise... just feels like I am not moving... I know that's not true. This year I've gotten auditions for things I normally would have never been considered for.. but I don't have a solid agent and I don't know if I'll ever book anything bigger than local and student type films...

I know I am probably less stuck than I appear. So I am trying to hold onto that. And hold onto the Lord. Knowing whatever He has planned from the beginning of my life is what is going to happen.

Moving forward from this post:

Image result for stranger things

This is a down moment... but these are the moments that count. How you respond to this kind of discouragement and when there is nothing to offer is what is really important. I am in no way giving up. I'm feel trapped.. but that makes me even more so determined to break out.

I am going to work 2x harder and keep going. I will be consistent. I will allow this to make me a better actor. To be a better human. This is just another step.

Going Alone

Everything I've been through in my life I have always had a close friend who has been there with me. I've been fortunate to always have someone to text. Someone who could be there in a moment.

With everything currently happening I feel like this one I'm going through alone. It's not that there aren't people who aren't willing to listen. That's all they can do though is listen. They can't go through this with me. They can't be here in the moments when I feel helpless.

I could grab my phone right now and text the first person I think of and let them know how I truly feel. They would send a sad emoji and an "I'm sorry". It wouldn't help though.

"Go ahead a wish me well. I'll cry a wishing well."

I've scared away one of my best friends. The other can't be here with me, and I would never ask her to. So that sense of closeness is gone. It's just me and my thoughts now.

And that's it I guess.

Waiting...

The past 2.5 hours has consisted of me sitting in my car and then at my desk waiting for 101.5 to play "Good For You" by Selena Gomez so that I can call in and try to win the $1000. I really need/want this $1000 because of my efforts to raise $20,000 to go to London and study classical acting.

So I'm waiting for a radio station to play a song.
Waiting to raise $20,000.
Waiting to go to London.
Waiting to study classical acting.
To wait to try to make a career out of acting.

There's lots of waiting.
It's very important to me to not waste today with my waiting.

I try not to waste the days.
I'm extremely focused on my goals. So easy to let life just slip away.
Our life is a mist anyways. Let's say one day I get to do all that I want to, that too will end. That's why God is so important. Well, just one of the many reasons.

"I don't know what kind of girl I am"

This year so far has been this: filming, first premiere, school, first red carpet, and now summer time.
Work is kind of sprinkled through out all of this.

The theme of the first half of this year has been a lot of learning, as usual, but specifically, in who I am. Don't worry, I'm not about to go all self-discovery drama. What I mean is who I am to the public. The premiere I was really nervous for people to see the film and to talk to me. I have a lot of role models of actors and talented artists.

One of the things I love about them is who they are and how they portray their characters. Going to the premiere I found myself thinking of who I am.. who I am publicly to these people who see my work. Who am I suppose to be? Am I suppose to be funny? Graceful? Confident and serious? I struggled with these same thoughts going into the Red Carpet and Award Ceremony. As an actor, if there's anything that drives me crazy it would be an actor who isn't genuine. If you aren't genuine in your life then how can you be on screen?

I can't believe I even had these thoughts of who I was suppose to be. I can only be me. How the public responds to that is their decision. So I don't need to be as funny as Amy Schumer, as graceful as Anne Hathaway, as adorable as Emma Stone, as quietly confident as Benedict Cumberbatch, or any of the people I look up to. I don't need to be anything.

This year I've actually been taking proper acting classes. One of the things I've learned about myself is when I think of how I'm suppose to say the lines, what I look like, or just plain overthinking the scene- I come off super fake. When I take on who the person is and then just let it be- that's when I do my best work.

So this is me. Just saying that I'm what I am. Not making excuses. If I turn into a jerk or a dive I can't use the excuse that it's who I am. I'm not a fan of people who use that.

I'm also learning. I'm learning to listen. To not blurt out as much as I do. To serve people. As a Christian, this will be a lifelong sanctification. This post is in reference to who God made me as my personality and who I am as in my soul. I want to be the best I can be. Genuine and determined. Loving and serving. Lifting people up on every set I enter. More than ordinary but less than perfect. Or what I think perfect means.

Everything Could Change

Sometimes good or great things happen over time. Sometimes terrible things happen over time. For example, I recently lost a friend. It wasn't all at once dramatically, but was just as painful.

I've noticed that some really great and terrible things happen very suddenly though. One thing can change everything in a day. I think everyone can think of that one moment where something really awful happened in split seconds. Everyone responds differently to situations to like that. However, sometimes amazing things happen in split seconds. Just the way people cope differently with bad things they also respond differently to spectacular things.

I recently submitted for a film that if I were to get the role it would change everything. I try my best to think rationally about these things. On one side I realize that I am one actress out of the entire country. There are very slim chances of even getting an audition. On the other side I have completely faith that if God wants me in this film that I will be. And in that moment. My whole world changes. Everything I've been working towards could happen in an instant. I want to be sure to document these times where i'm straining, crying, and fighting for my life (it feels like), because I might forget. This is the "climb" you could say.

I'm tracking my package right now as it makes its way to the UK. Praying for favor that the moment it reaches that little office that God changes their eyes to see me and to want me. I know that I'm a nobody, but I believe that I don't have to be someone because I have God.

On Top of the World

I was listening to this song and my brain clicked on something. See, I struggle with this silly little thing. Some people call it depression I just sometimes like to call it getting little lost. It seems a weekly battle of not losing who I am, staying focused, and purposeful.

I'm not sure why but listening to this song made me think of the past and how I could have died in 2011/2012. It was a very real possibility that I wouldn't be here writing this or living this life. So why am I getting so down about work, school, and just life?

I have been given a second chance. To live. To be all I "can be"(quoting a British friend who once told me to be all I can be. If one day you read this sir, I remembered).

But seriously, I wouldn't have been here. Working fast food, going to school, having one or two good friends doesn't seem so impossible when the other option was not living at all.

No, I don't have a lot of friends. I don't have parties and social gatherings every week, or even month. I may just be a minimum wage employee who spends most of her time wasted on Youtube, online classes, and the typical college student stuff, BUT what a blessed life that is!!!

When I remember where I came from...This IS the dream life. I'm always reaching for more, which isn't bad... but what a wonderful place I'm in right now.
To have a life.
To have chance to accomplish my goals.
To even just have one good friend.
To be Free.

*Sometimes I feel as though. I'm living the sequel to "To Save A Life".
This what you do with the saved life. *

2 Years

Today makes 2 years of living without my old self destructive ways.
It doesn't mean I haven't struggled with those things.
It just means it's been two years since the last time I truly gave in.
So I figured this calls for a post and a few lyrics since I'm just listening to music trying to find something fun to do today.

"They said we never would survive,
and I believed the lies,
and then there words were verified,
when I replaced my heart for your demise,
but you were always on my side."

I'm still getting over a cold/flu thing.
I've had quite a few auditions this week and things that are like one in a million of actually getting but still super fun to do! And who knows what God has in store. It would be super fun to do one of them.

Hmmm.. I suppose I should post my thoughts on reaching two years. Honestly, I don't have much thoughts. My life is so different now. I didn't even remember until I was writing down the date during church this morning. I was like "Oh yeah hey". I am happy to have reached another milestone.
